This article was published in 2009 (note young people in photo). These days we travel much, hence this travel blog, and we hope we are evolving.

BOB.O.LINK (noun) 

Why call the blog of our travel adventures BOBOLINK you may or may not ask? Well . . . it's actually the name we accorded our then newborn property management firm 35 or so years ago. There's Bob's first name, BOB + Reuel's last name OLIN + who darst deny we're LINKed! (=BOBOLINK). Additionally, dipping further into arcana, the Bobolink is a bird that mates for life (ditto!) and is prevalent on the east coast of the US from whence we both hail and from whence we eventually took to the skies to land in . . . San Diego. (Too recondite by half you rightly say?) Add that BobolinkBoyz is the title the publishers chose for their article on us as urban "Pioneers" in the 2009 edition of HillQuest Magazine which piece we reproduced above (that is, if this blog thing actually works).

(Reuel's Rotator cuff surgery was January 28.) Answer in February is NO sort of. He nixes the European trip--I can't cease my physical therapy that long and so soon after shedding my sling. But NYC is green-lighted. April 26-May 4.

July 8-25. Diamond Princess. 17 Day "Grand Japan". (Just in time for "Reverse Shoulder Replacement" Surgery=Bionic Man.)
